There are no formal entry requirements for these pathways, (With the exception of Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training*), these pathways designed for people looking to enter the fitness industry. 

The following are desirable but not essential:

• Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, is highly recommended.
• The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary.
• There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learner should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.

*Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training Requires a pre requisite of Level 2 Gym or Equivalent

Practical observed assessments can be completed via video submission or by attending one of our regional assessment days.
